IB Students' Movie
In the school year 2005/2006 preIB students made a short film titled Talking Heads 2006. They took their inspiration from a 15-minute film made in 1980 by Polish director Krzysztof Kieślowski. In Kieślowski’s film three questions were asked to people from one to one hundred years of age: How old are you?, Who are you? and What do you want from life?. 15 years after Kieślowski did it our preIB students did the same. They made their film in the same country, in Poland, but now being economically, culturally and politically so different, so much more developed and cosmopolitan. While watching people from the 1980 film and from the 2006 Talking Heads, we can observe mainly differences but also quite a few similarities in how people respond to those rather fundamental questions a human being may be asked.
